Sell content with a credit system
With this feature, you can offer your clients the option to purchase credits and then use those credits to access your different types of content (programs, sessions, videos, meal plans, etc.).
This provides an alternative to traditional payments and makes it easier to access multiple types of content through a single credit system.
Why use credits?
Credits offer several advantages:
Flexibility for your clients: they buy a pack and decide for themselves how to use it.
Diversification for you: you can sell your content in a different way than just with direct payments.
Valuation of your offers: you set the “price” in credits for each piece of content.
Attractiveness: the experience is more engaging for your clients, who can build their own path à la carte.
Two ways to create credits
There are two ways to set up credits in your application:
1. Via a product (Credit Pack)
To create a credit pack:
Go to your BackOffice, section Products.
Click on Add a product at the top right.
Set up your pack (e.g.: 100 credits for €50 or 300 credits for €120).
When creating your pack, specify:
the number of credits included,
the purchase price,
optionally, a validity period (e.g. credits valid for 1 month),
the types of content where these credits can be used.
You can decide whether your credits can be used across all your content, or limit them to specific categories (for example, only programs or only sessions).
2. Via a subscription
You can also create a subscription that automatically adds credits each month to your clients’ accounts.
Example: a subscription at €40 per month can give 200 credits, which your clients can then use freely to unlock your content.
To set this up:
Go to the Subscriptions section in your BackOffice.
Click on Add a subscription at the top right.
Fill in the required fields (see screenshot below).
Link your content to credits
Once your packs and/or subscriptions are created, you need to define which content can be purchased with credits.
Example:
a program = 150 credits
a video session = 50 credits
a meal plan = 100 credits
If a program costs 150 credits, the client must purchase a sufficient pack (for example, a 200 credit pack) to unlock it.
To link content to credits:
Go to the content in question (for example, a program).
Click on it, then click "Edit".
Scroll down to the "Monetization" section and tick the corresponding box (as shown in the screenshot below).
Assign credits directly to a client
In addition to selling packs or subscriptions, you can also manually assign credits to a client from your BackOffice. This can be useful if you want to offer a commercial gesture, reward loyalty, or simply correct a specific situation.
To do this:
Go to the "Clients" section of your BackOffice.
Click on the client in question.
Open the "Credits" tab.
Click on "Manage credit balance".
Then enter the number of credits you want to assign, and confirm.
Concrete examples of use
Premium program: a full program at 200 credits, encouraging your clients to purchase a larger pack.
Mixed pack: video sessions (50 credits) + a meal plan (100 credits), allowing clients to combine different types of content.
Flexible subscription: a monthly subscription that recharges 200 credits each month, which clients can then spend freely on programs, videos, and nutrition.
Specialization: make credits valid only for specific types of content (e.g. only video sessions), to create a clear and targeted offer.
Individual coaching: a live or online coaching session at 150 credits, to add value to your more personalized services.
Discovery offer: a small pack of varied content (e.g. 1 video + 1 meal plan + 1 mini-program) for 100 credits, allowing new clients to try out several formats.
