Add a food

In the "Nutrition" menu in your back office, click on "Foods" and then click on "Add a food" in the top right-hand corner.

An edit page for your new food will then appear :

General information

  • Food name: Name of the food, which will appear on the back office and the application.

  • Brand (optional): Specific brand of the product in question.

  • Bar code (optional): Bar code of the food.

Portions

Set the food type to have predefined portions according to the nature of the food. You have a wide choice from the list below. This will save you time when you add this food to a meal plan.

You can also create customised portions by ticking "Customised portion".

Nutritional values

Configure the nutritional values of your food so that your customers can track them accurately. You can fill in the quantity of calories, macronutrients, minerals and vitamins.

The units (g, mg, µg) are already configured in the back office, and correspond to the units generally used in scientific literature.

You can enter the values per 100g of the product concerned, or per portion if you have configured a personalised portion at the previous stage.

Activate the feed

Save the food after configuring it so that it appears in your back office and on your customers' applications. You'll be able to use it in your recipes and meal plans, and your customers will be able to use it to keep track of their nutrition diary.

A food item saved on the application from a customer account will only be visible to you and your customer. Under no circumstances can a customer share their own food with other customers.

Editing a food

In the "Nutrition" menu in your back office, click on "Food" and then on "Actions" opposite the food. Then click on "Edit".

The food editor then appears, allowing you to modify all the food's contents.

Deleting a feed

In the "Nutrition" menu in your back office, click on "Food" and then on "Actions" opposite the food. Then click on "Delete".

A popup will ask you to confirm your choice.

This action is irreversible.
