Nutritional and anthropometric parameters of a client

When your customer registers in the app, an automatic kcal calculation is performed based on their anthropometric data. See the calculation method here.

You can update their anthropometric data yourself, and set their nutritional targets from your back office.

To do this, in the "Clients" menu in your back office, click on the client of your choice.

Then click on 'Settings'. You will then have access to these generic parameters, as well as to its nutritional parameters (area outlined in orange below).

From the customer file, you can change :

  • Height

  • Weight

  • Target weight

  • Daily calorie target

  • Activity level

  • Calorie targets per meal

  • Nutritional targets

  • Percentage of calories burnt

Calorie target

The calorie target can be set to 'automatic' (default mode). In this case, the software takes into account anthropometric data, target weight, activity level and the number of calories burnt (when activity is recorded on the app) to define a calorie target and macronutrient targets. Our calculation methods are described in this article.

You can also change it yourself. To do this, click on the button opposite "Calorie target / day".

A window appears. All you have to do is untick the "Automatic coach" option, then fill in the number of calories you want yourself.

Calorie targets per meal

The calorie targets per meal are also calculated automatically by the software, and you can modify them yourself. They allow you to determine a percentage of the calorie target to be reached for each meal. To do this, click on the button opposite "Calorie targets per meal".

A window appears. All you have to do is untick the "Automatic coach" option, then fill in the percentage of calories you want yourself.

The total at the bottom tells you whether your intake actually meets 100% of the calorie target.

Nutritional targets

The nutritional targets are also calculated automatically by the software, and you can modify them yourself. They allow you to determine a percentage of macronutrients in relation to total calories. To do this, click on the button opposite "Nutritional targets".

A window then appears. All you have to do is uncheck the "Automatic coach" option, then fill in the desired macronutrient percentages yourself (from 10 to 80%).

When you modify the carbohydrates, the fats are modified automatically.

When you modify the proteins, the carbohydrates are modified automatically.

When you modify the lipids, the proteins are modified automatically.

Percentage of calories burned

This feature allows you to regulate your daily calorie target according to the physical activity recorded by the application. Depending on the percentage you enter (from 0 to 100%), the calorie target will be increased or decreased.

Example: You set the percentage to 50%. Your customer enters an activity on the application during which she burns 200 calories. Her calorie target will automatically increase by 100 calories.

This feature allows you to 'compensate' for the calories you burn during exercise.

You can regulate this parameter according to your customer's objective. If they want to gain mass, they will need to compensate for the calories lost during their physical activity, so set the slider at around 100%. If they want to lose weight, the calorie deficit created by the physical activity is interesting, so there is less need to compensate for the calories burnt. In these cases, the slider can be set below 50%, down to 0%.
